The AI, Robotics, and Control Systems (AIRoCS) Lab advances the science of safe, data-efficient, and trustworthy robot intelligence. Our research spans certified learning and control, collective and swarm intelligence, and geometry- and physics-informed representations for adaptive robots.
We integrate visuo-tactile and force-vision fusion for perception-action learning and explore human-robot interaction through telepresence and immersive robotics. Together, these efforts aim to endow robots with autonomy that is both intelligent and verifiably safe across diverse environments.
We merge AI and robotics to create safe, adaptive control strategies, designing intelligent systems that learn, adapt, and operate reliably in complex environments.
